In a world where AI temps us to let it do our thinking, I feel that real human thoughts and emotions expressed by talented and creative "human" storytellers are and always will be superior.
And though I have always embraced the cutting edge of technology, I remain passionate about the value of real human storytelling. In keeping with this philosophy, you will not find a single word, other than those of clients, on this site or in any piece I create that is not my own.
Over the past 40 years I’ve had the honor and privilege of working with an amazing variety of companies, educators, organizations and individuals to help tell their stories in wonderfully creative ways. I invite you to explore and discover how we can help you tell your story.
In the Beginning
As a musician, song writer and lead singer I enjoyed regional success through the 70's in a rock band but along the way as I acquired recording equipment to create demos, I became more and more interested in the creative production of music. After disbanding in 1980 I opened Great Tracks Recording in Cleveland Ohio. And by 1985, operating 3 studios under 1 roof, we were one of the top audio facilities in Northeast Ohio. Our philosophy then was as it is now; anyone can own gear and push buttons. It's creativity that sets a studio apart.
But my passion for filmmaking is what always drove my creative process. In every piece of music, I wrote or produced I was always driven by the visual in my head. So, as the 90's came to a close I opened Venue Studios, 15,000 square feet of creative heaven, where cutting-edge video and audio came together to create compelling stories for a multitude of genres and applications.
As world-famous boxing promoter Don King's personal videographer and historian I have traveled the world to chronical his life. As an adjunct professor of media arts at Lakeland College for 12 years, I taught advanced media students the art of storytelling through filmmaking.
In each chapter of my career, it has always been my passion for creative storytelling and meticulous attention to detail that has driven me.
